Requirements

This position requires an exceptional attention to detail, a high level of emotional intelligence, and importantly the ability to empathize and support grieving families and their pets during a very difficult time.  The successful candidate will possess and exude confidence and the ability to handle different pets and people in a variety of environments, often during very emotional situations. This position works well for an individual that has the ability to read people well and respond accordingly.  The ability to lift large dogs on a stretcher with assistance is needed, as is the ability to document effectively,  and keep accurate, timely medication logs.  The ability to follow safety protocols, dependability, punctuality, and responsiveness are important.  The successful candidate will be expected to have and maintain reliable, insured transportation with a safe driving record.  We provide a flexible schedule that will include occasional overnight duties.
